Winnipeg Landscaping Contractor Review – Winnipeg Free Press, April 2009

Couldn’t do it without you

The residents of the Kingston Crescent and Kingston Row area would like to express their appreciation to all the volunteers who gave their time and effort on Saturday to help sandbag 73 homes along the Red River in the Elm Park area. Without their assistance, this effort could not have been successfully undertaken.

We would also like to thank those corporations who generously provided materials, food, fresh fruit, coffee and water to all the volunteers. These corporations included the Sobey’s store at St. Anne’s and Bishop Grandin, Tim Horton’s on St. Mary’s Road, three Subway restaurants, the Salvation Army, the St. Norbert Adult Education Centre, the City of Winnipeg, Canadian Tire, Costco, Capital Motorsports, Mark’s Work Warehouse, and Home Depot.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Rob Kenyon and his staff from the KGS Group for their leadership and guidance, and to The Lawn Salon for their assistance in preparing the dyking corridor.
